Newsletter To report on the White Water Campout - On Friday night you were on your own. Some went out to eat, others ate in their units. I heard it was a nice weekend for camping weather-wise and that the grandchildren attending had a great time. On Saturday morning the usual big breakfast was cooked and enjoyed by all. Then you were on your own until the evening meal. Some went shopping while others just chilled out and visited. The Wright Boys (Scooter, Ronald & Donald) cooked ribs and chicken for the group and I asssure you they were wonderful. A special thanks go out to Tim Gaines who supplied the chicken. I'm sure everyone was well fed. This Club has some good cooks and most of us love to eat. Ha! Ha! Sunday morning after breakfast the devotion was held and after clean up it was time to say goodbyes and get ready for the return trip home. A thanks go to Glenda & Robert Knighton and Faye & Ernie Wright for being the Wagon Masters and doing a fine job once again. We're glad Kathleen Baxley is doing better and able to camp again. Russ and Melinda Temple remain in our prayers. We miss them. The November camp out is our Thanksgiving camp out and will be at Fair Harbor in Perry, Ga. on the 16th and 17th. The Baxleys are the Wagon Masters. Please call the Park and make your reservations ASAP. Their telephone # is 877-988-8844. Tell the camp ground you are with the Peach State Coachmen Club when you call. On Friday night you will be on your own.
